100 Afghan Special Force soldiers go missing in Ghazni province

KABUL, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- About 100 personnel of the Afghan Special Force have gone missing in the eastern Ghazni province over the past two days, local TV channel Tolonews reported on Monday.

The TV, however, added "based on reports 10 personnel of the missing unit had been killed and 20 others discovered alive" in Ajristan district of the province.

Ghazni city, the capital of Ghazni province 125 km south of Kabul, has been the scene of fierce fighting between Taliban and government forces since Friday and scores of people have reportedly been killed.
