Cooperative helps villagers get rid of poverty in south China's Guangxi

Photo taken on Nov. 3, 2018 shows ripening passion fruits at a breeding base of a cooperative in Niqiao Village of Shafu Town, Qinzhou, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The village explored a poverty reduction mode in which company, cooperative and farmers build a partnership to develop industries of fruit planting and seedling breeding. In the first half of 2018, the cooperative saw over 6 million yuan (about 866,000 U.S. dollars) in sales revenue, helping 10 poverty-stricken households out of poverty. (Xinhua/Zhang Ailin)
