Feature: Mining golden memories of Chinese migrants in Australia

China was in the late Qing Dynasty when many were thrilled by tidings of gold mine discovery in Australia. Ballarat was called the "New Gold Mountain" and some Chinese travelled there, hoping that their lives could be changed by gold.
