PRAGUE, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Czech President Milos Zeman extended New Year greetings to the Chinese people in a video clip published on Xinhuanet website this week ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival.
He wished Chinese people good health and happiness in the new year, and said he especially wishes great success to everyone in China.
"Because success is the spice of life," Zeman said. "When you look back in your life and think about what you have left and what you have brought to the people around you, you would feel you lived a full life. That's why I wish you all big success."
This year's Spring Festival, or Chinese Lunar New Year, falls on Feb. 5.
