Shanghai medical transfer team worked day and night to transfer patients in Wuhan. Their hard work has brought hope to the patients.

WUHAN, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Since the novel coronavirus outbreak, 32 medical transfer teams from different parts of China have rushed to Wuhan to fight at the frontline.

Braving the danger of being exposed to the virus, they shuttle between hospitals and treating centers around the clock to transfer patients. Thanks to their hard work, a total of 7,343 infected patients, including 2,464 with severe symptoms, have been transferred and treated from Feb. 12 to March 10.

Shanghai transfer team once ran up to 20 trips a day to transfer over 100 patients, according to Liu Yi, head of the team.

"It's no easy job, but it's our crowning glory to see patients transferred safe and sound," Liu said.
